Urban
2017 // 360° fulldome film (04:22), 3D animation, photogrammetry
Jena Fulldome Festival: “Janus Student Award”
With the help of photogrammetry, urban elements are converted into 3D models and merged into a collage of moving images. The result is a new space of individual fragments that appears as a surreal camera movement through a distorted world of urban elements. The images are reminiscent of scraps that can be seen in passing facades in the city center, as well as gaps, dwindling and distorted memories of places from our own past. The familiar elements appear alienated in their new form and make digital reality questionable.
Scalarat
2016 // 360° film (05:23), 3D animation
Scalarat was conceived as a 360 ° fulldome (planetarium) short film and translated into 360 ° virtual reality and a 2D version. The project closes the gap between the traditional form of 360 ° film and the world of virtual reality.
A tormented soul finds itself in a seemingly hopeless situation. It takes refuge in a self-created dream world to escape the agony. There it creates the scalarat, which enables dreaming to free themselves.
Scalarat deals with subjective reality and how it can change its shape. It shows how hope, ambition and concentration can influence the spaces and situations around us. The rooms and atmospheres of the digital 3D worlds reflect and unite the character of the actors and the mood

Interlude
2015 // interactive VR-experience, Unity
Interlude is an experimental virtual reality experience that takes place in the space of relived memories and dream states. It gives the space between these points in time a stage and examines the connection between the conscious and the unconscious. In a non-linear environment, viewers can teleport into their world by “touching” objects and experience a section of the parallel dimension. As if in a dream-like state, familiar elements and spaces appear everywhere, but are immediately distorted again or brought into unknown contexts.
Activate Unlock
2013 // 360° film, 3D animation
2014 Jena Fulldome Festival
2013 B3 Fulldome Exhibition
The security guard wakes up and sees a girl on his screens. A number of carefully timed actions are required for it to proceed. The computers show a robot, a train driver, a pig. They will do their part. Everyday situations, objects, actions are brought into unfamiliar relationships with one another. With an exaggeration of rigid linear sequences of machine-like actions, Activate Unlock examines questions of surveillance, control and power.
